Corporate Profile

Kathleen Strickland, President, founded PJAdvisors, Inc. in memory of her daughter, Pamela Jane, who was killed by a drunk driver at the age of 17. "PJ" was Pamela's nickname and the company name serves as a memorial to her.

Ms.Strickland founded this start-up Meeting & Event Planning Firm based on previous education and background acquired throughout her 25 year tenure with various industry-related companies. Strongly self-motivated, innovative, enthusiastic, profit and productive oriented, decision maker, well organized, excellent people skills, contract negotiating and planning abilities have contributed to her success in marketing PJAdvisors, Inc. to Corporate Executives, Associations and Governmental Agencies throughout the United States. Kathleen is also responsible for designing and implementing special projects; proposal writing; publicity; site selection research; vendor contract negotiations;set-up and equipment acquisitions; supervision of staff; billing; on-site management coordination; budget control and final savings overview.

Our involvement focuses on local and International levels in the special events and meeting planning industry.
